Hello, everyone. This is your favorite idol HiMERU bringing this message today, directly to you. In case we have not had the pleasure of meeting yet, HiMERU hopes that he will become your favorite soon too.
At our last town gathering, we had the opportunity to greet one another and exchange information, which was extremely helpful not only to those who have been here since the beginning, but also to those more newly arrived, like HiMERU himself. Hopefully many if not all of us have been caught to speed with the goings-on of this town we find ourselves in, and... Ah, to get to the point:

In light of our learning the value of these gemstones we arrived with, several of us thought it a good idea to keep a record of everyone's gems.
For those who are not yet aware, HiMERU will explain it as simply as possible: Everyone has a gemstone. These gemstones are directly linked to our lives. If the gemstone is damaged, its owner will feel it. If the gemstone is destroyed... the owner dies — with no chance of returning, it seems.
While we understand the feeling of vulnerability this likely arouses, and that we cannot force you to share this information with us, HiMERU thinks it is of great importance and gives us another means to keep one another safe. We would like to avoid any future incidents of not knowing who a gem belongs to, before or after any damage is done. It is within your right to decline providing your information, but in the interest of looking out for one another... HiMERU encourages your cooperation, and thanks you for it.
Several members of the community have already voluntarily contributed to our data catalogue, and pictures were taken during the meeting and some outside of it. HiMERU will be attaching the information to this message and opening it to the public. He has plans to continuously update this digital record as new contributors come along, but he also is aware not everyone in the town has access to this online network.
As is such, we are in the process of creating a physical, handwritten copy to be kept in the town's public library. However, we lack the technology to print the photos we've taken, and as such are seeking any artists willing to volunteer their talents. We would appreciate drawings of the gemstones to go along with the paper record, so please contact HiMERU if you or someone you know is skilled in drawing.
Additionally, there have been some requests from others to have physical copies of this record for their own personal use. While it is possible to make multiple copies by hand — for obvious reasons, this is not ideal. It would also be harder to update as time goes on, so the digital record will likely remain the best resource, but... Once again, if you or anyone you know has any abilities related to duplication — through magical means or otherwise — please contact HiMERU.
